Heel Lock (Runner's Loop) Technique
The #1 technique to prevent heel slippage and painful friction blisters.
Step 1: Lace your shoes as normal until you reach the second-to-last eyelet.
Step 2: Go straight up to the top eyelet without crossing over, creating a small "loop" on each side.
Step 3: Cross your laces and thread them through the loops on the opposite sides.
Step 4: Pull down to lock the heel in place before tying your standard knot.
